POTM (Performer Of The Match): Chethan Chakravarthy

Chetan Chethan played a crucial all-round role that helped CECC topple RNW in a close game that ended in the last over with CECC winning by 1 wicket.

Chetan took the crucial wicket of RNW’s captian Guru and later took a swirling catch to send back a dangerous lower-order hitter Susant.

Opening the batting for his team chasing a target that required his team to go at more than 7 from the outset, he laid the perfect platform for his team with a fluent and aggressive 65.

For his outstanding show with bat and ball and also in the field, Chethan was declared the POTM

POTM: Dinesh

Dinesh_POTM

Defending a smallish total, Dinesh came in one-change with the opposition ahead in the game and produced a sharp spell of good quick bowling mixing his length to have the opposition on tenterhooks.

Barring his three over burst for a wicket while conceding only 9 runs the opposition would have run away with the game a lot earier.

For continuing to be his team’s most valuable asset with his bowling, Dinesh is the POTM.

POTM: Bhadresh

BhadreshIn a spirited display of committed fielding that saved many boundaries that cost him a good chunk of his skin on his elbows, arms and knees, Bhadresh gave it his all.

Then having to steer the ship in the chase at the end, Bhadresh pulled out two massive sixes to make the match a lot closer than the eventual 9 runs his team lost with.

For his spirited performance diving around both while fielding and running between the wickets and his brilliant cameo at the end, Bhadresh is the POTM
