On a day where both batting and bowling was well below par, Muthu’s glove work was neat and quick. He was decisive with his movements and inflicted a run out and a stumping. Besides, he opened and laid a good foundation for his team that eventually proved not to be enough.

A gifted all-round sportsman and all-round cricketer, Syed Shoukath walked-in with his team 4 down with more than half the overs to bat. His quick-fire 39 and an unbeaten 123-run stand with his captain Goutham in 8.4 overs put his team in a winning position. He followed it up with a tight-over of quick-bowling and took an important wicket ensuring an easy victory.
